Hi Rashmi Virendra, After working with thousands of youth over the last 15 years, we've seen some patterns repeatedly when it comes to what's next for 14 to 21-year-olds:
- Confusion about 'which field should I choose'?
- Unsure how to turn their passion into a profession.
- Feeling pressure to succeed (though they are not yet clear what 'success' means yet).
Sigh! Really? Doesn't it sound all too terrifyingly familiar to our own stories? Is that the best we can offer our children too? A world of confusion, insecurity, and pressure?
What if, instead, we give them a priceless gift? What if we could empower them to discover their own possibilities, create their own career path, and craft the professional life of their dreams?
How about we give our young adults three 'magic keys' to live the life we would truly want for them?
- Space to explore each of their interests to let their true passions or interests naturally surface
- Togetherness in a cohort of equally passionate youth who are on similar paths of self-led careers
- Exposure to real, exciting, domain-specific industry work (maybe even earn)
In our experience, these magic keys, used right, empower youth to find a path that's truly theirs. Not one chosen by society, fears, guilt, or pressures - but one that's purposeful, meaningful, worthy of their time, commitment, and yes, their adult life. And we've wrapped all those insights and experience into creating Aarohi CoVersity. A program that offers youth aged 14-to-21 the structure, peer group, tools, practices, guidance, opportunities, and mentorship to craft and live the professional life of their dreams.
