| | Hi Rashmi Virendra Many teenagers do not enjoy studies or the prescribed subjects or giving exams, etc.
We need to show to the youth that colleges, degrees and certificates are not the only way to build a successful professional life.
This system of exams and marks and studies suits some children and it's good for them. Let them celebrate their academic achievements.
For the rest of us, who do not do well in exams or are not interested in studies - we can eschew colleges and jump directly into doing work in the domains that interest us and learn by doing actual industry work.
Aarohi has initiated CoVersity (for 13-21 years old youth) wherein youth get together in a cohort to support each other. Each deep dives into a domain of his or her choice and does actual industry work that they enjoy doing. They develop skill sets required by that industry, since they are interacting and working with mentors and experts from the industry. If after 6-12 months they realise that they are no longer enjoying this domain - they switch to another domain and so on till they discover which domain they truly enjoy. All along building their portfolio which makes them work certified. This helps them eventually to either get a job or get into freelancing or entrepreneurship. There is no pre qualification required to enter Coversity, nor any exams to give, actually nothing to prove to the world - since the work one does the talking. Youth automatically become industry ready in a few years.
We want such coversity to mushroom all over the country inviting youth to design their own professional journey. Mantra is simple - instead of learning to earn, let's #EarntoLearn
Please share this option of youth doing their professional journey with every youth. Interested youth and parents can visit the coversity website and also interact with us on zoom every Wednesday at 7pm. or reach out on whatsapp to 72040-66694 for a 1:1 discussion
On Zoom, today, 20th Dec, Wednesday, 7pm IST
